The Hungarian Flag

Before I attend to my little night fetish of mopping the floors, I would like to note that there is a new shooter in the house, brought to you by Patris from Lithuania, who was telling me about this "aaaamazing shot" he had years ago and believes it was layers of Grenadine, Sambuca and Absinthe. Well, I had to go and good-old-Google it...

...as it turns out, it is widely known as the FBI. Given the colors, I was to re-name it The Hungarian Flag. This patriotic concept of mine is about to collapse:  all new drinks need to be tested 5 times before approved as a member on the Icon drink list. After the third "test-run" I'm almost convinced that this shot should be called "THE NOSE-JOB"

This is to demonstrate how NOT to shoot it.

Shooting it the proper way however will leave you with the same up-the-nose sensation.

HEALTH BENEFITS:
Cleanses the nostrils like an invisible little chimney sweeper.
Cures flu and eliminates the birth of negative thoughts immediately.

Meanwhile, organizing 4 years of cocktail recipes and suggestions of your favorite mixes you contributed to the Icon Board. Many thanks, you are staying with us in SPIRIT :)

Word below dedicated to Ponheary Ly  for all that she has done for a community in need. A consistently growing and effective project that I would like to raise your attention to.

I came across the Ponheary Ly Foundation during my stay in Siem Reap, where I visit yearly, meeting my wonderful friends who make education happen in villages where access to education is a challenge - not to mention food and healthcare, and kids in particular areas even struggle to survive.

School is the Answer

Gathering clouds, a twist of fate...
Mashed potato, fried chicken, coffee
traveling down my throat.
Hunger. Hunger...
...kids, only little kids
out in the sun, out in the rain,
in an era of a paralyzing reign.

A story of a woman told, out in the fields
killing insects to survive.
In her eyes, the sun and tears;
a life suffocated into fears, lived and learned.
Crossing the Killing Fields,
Ponheary Ly spread her roots
like the strongest of the trees.

My lines never rhyme but this time
they come to me in a breath of the wind,
I'm thinking of her eating my bread;
She had a dream ... and the dream she had:

Kids singing the alphabet in
classrooms for a future
they could have been denied to have.

She stood up to make life right:
seeds of skill, faith and pride she spread
over the fields, over the bones of the dead.
She gave everything she had.

There is nothing that is impossible.
